I’ve finally seen The Matrix: Revolutions and have decided that (although there are aspects I have enjoyed), I am not a fan of the trilogy.
editing of my latest The short going extraordinarily film is well. Bravo, BB.
My stomach really, really hurts - and it’s got nothing to do with stomach problems…
Not content with recognition for:
Steve P. was at it again today, terrorising the innocent with a variety of highly amusing acts.
I can honestly say that I’ve never laughed so much at school before, for which I am truly grateful.
Danny Bhoy is finally back on the box.
Gazpacho Soup Day.
Despite the recent Rik & Ade news, I’ve been really looking forward to the Bottom Live 2003 video, especially since I saw the real thing in October. I preordered my copy some time ago and it’s being paid for by those lovely people at RWS. Mwah ha ha ha.
I’m updating via voice recognition today, as I’m in the process of tidying my room. (Ah, the technology.)
I *was* going to say something along the lines of “Rik & Ade fans, brace youself for some bad news,” but I didn’t want to give the impression that their band was getting back together.
From today’s Daily Mail:
“After a 20-year comedy partnership with Rik Mayall, Adrian Edmondson has had enough: ‘This tour is the last one I’m going to do with Rik. I think Rik and I have now reached an age where the next stage is still a few years down the line. There’s probably a great sitcom for us in about 20 years about a couple of grumpy old men in an old folks’ home. We’ve always known that and talked about it, but for now it’s time to stop.’
“He steadfastly maintains that he and Mayall haven’t fallen out - they’ve just changed.”
Rik & Ade are two of my favourite television people, so the news is saddening. But I am fortunate to have seen their last live show and am glad to know they’ve gone out with a bang. A rather large bang at that.
You tell ‘em, Jimmy.
