Yes, is there something wrong?

The bus is on time this morning. The bus stops when I signal. I board the bus. The bus drives off. All is going well. The bus goes down the road. The bus goes down another road. And another. And then another.

The bus gets caught in a traffic jam. The bus doesn’t move for TWENTY minutes. The bus starts moving. The jam is due to road works. The slight similarity to the events of Ghostbusters II amuse. But not for long.

I get off the bus five minutes before I am supposed to be in for software training. I am not very happy. I walk VERY quickly, almost running to Racodac. I get in five minutes late. The session is postponed by thirty minutes. I am not amused.

I sit in same seat from 10:10 AM until 4:45 PM. I get up once to return two film noirs to the library. Training is on Adobe Illustrator. I use Internet throughout. I have email conversation with Zehra A. I have difficulty logging in to new website I am to run with others.

Nobody notices my “Sheriff Blake” badge. I go home at 4:45 PM. I was going to stay to watch Shaun of the Dead. I don’t because a) I have a headache, b) I’ve been sitting down for most of the day, and c) I already own it on DVD.

I come home.
I blog.
I stop typing like this.

Now I’m going to watch/make notes on The Maltese Falcon, as I aim to start writing my essay tonight. Depending on how much of it I get done, I may have the day off tomorrow, as that’s all I’d be doing at Racodac anyway. That and sit about on the Internet. At least at home I can comfortably do so in nothing but my pants.
