S-so you did see me that day

Forgetting the fact that some amusingly queued up at the wrong venue, I’ve just read that Star Wars fans are already lining up for the opening of Episode III on 19th May.

Now, as much as I may like something, I’d never queue for longer than a day for it. Besides, in this instance it’s not as if Star Wars‘ cinema run is going to be limited, is it?

So would somebody please explain to me how this works? Presumably they’re living on the streets for the next month and a bit. So do they take food with them, or do they get their non-fan friends to bring them food? What about hygiene and visits to the lavatory? What about employment/education commitments?

Seriously, I don’t get it.
