Compiling a proper list of my favourite films has proved a very difficult task indeed. And no doubt this will change in time:

I know that it didn’t *need* to be done, but it’s good to finally have a definitive list of the top twenty or so.

And how exactly I came by that order shall be saved for discussion in the flesh.
