I am currently listening to the 1999 remake of The Thomas Crown Affair on BBC One. The broadcast keeps switching to BBC Two’s Newsnight signal then back to the film again.

It’s quite funny actually - I bet some chap is sitting in the BBC Two room frantically hitting his broadcast buttons on and wondering why they are being quickly turned off elsewhere. “Elsewhere” being in the BBC One room next door - by an equally confused chap.

Of course, they could both be of the female variety. It’s not as if there’s much work to be done in the kitchen at this hour, after all
