Not a sprout diet

I’ve replaced the sound system in my bedroom. Trust me when I say that The Bill has never sounded better.
Go on, have a guess. No clues just have a guess.
I knew you wouldn’t get it. I’ve finished my animation!
Tomorrow’s exam at Racodac has been postponed until “some point in the next fortnight”. That’s no biggie - quite typical of Racodac in fact. But what has really, really annoyed me is that they’re sort of extending the animation deadline because so many people have been lazy and not even started it yet.
“I know you’re all under a lot of pressure”, said one of my main course tutors. What on Earth is he talking about?! I mean, he seems a fair enough chap, and it’s nice to know that he’d be lenient when it actually mattered. But come on - the only pressure we’re really under is delivering the animation project on time. And even then, the deadline was a whole calendar month after the original briefing, and our other two pieces of work are due mid-November and early December.
I wish they’d get the balance right; last year we had so much work and so little time to do it in. And although MY animation project has been a big effort, the time set was more than enough. And the animation tutor reckons that my project is the most ambitious. So how come I can manage, for goodness’ sake.
Roger Lloyd-Pack is going to be a baddie in the next series of Doctor Who. I can’t quite see him in the role myself, but he’s great in everything else so it’s sure to be a treat.
Not long until the Christmas special now.
Now there’s another Brummie git trying to get in touch with me. Obviously it could just be the same Brummie git from before - this time phoning from a different landline. But I always miss the calls and they don’t answer when I phone back.
Not that the Mayor of Warsaw spontaneously combusted, or that it rained herring in Burgundy, but today has been very strange indeed.
I find it almost sadistically pleasing making traffic unnecessarily stop at pelican crossings when I cross the road before the red light kicks in. I’m sure I’m not alone in this pleasure; I should imagine that small children also find amusement in this type of charade.
We’re only allowed thirty seconds (give or take five) for our animations. But my very rough edit comes in at fifty-five. Arse.
Still, it looks brilliant – though I say so myself. Made me laugh once too.
My animation is in the can. Not that I shot it on film, you understand. Or that I’ve actually edited it together yet. But I’m sure you got what I meant all the same.
And I only spent TWELVE consecutive hours (forgetting two lavatorial breaks) shooting the bugger. But that’s what you get for being a smug git and telling a complicated story, I suppose.
Frame by frame alteration now. Yey!
