Hello stress. Goodbye stress.
Tomorrow’s exam at Racodac has been postponed until “some point in the next fortnight”. That’s no biggie - quite typical of Racodac in fact. But what has really, really annoyed me is that they’re sort of extending the animation deadline because so many people have been lazy and not even started it yet.
“I know you’re all under a lot of pressure”, said one of my main course tutors. What on Earth is he talking about?! I mean, he seems a fair enough chap, and it’s nice to know that he’d be lenient when it actually mattered. But come on - the only pressure we’re really under is delivering the animation project on time. And even then, the deadline was a whole calendar month after the original briefing, and our other two pieces of work are due mid-November and early December.
I wish they’d get the balance right; last year we had so much work and so little time to do it in. And although MY animation project has been a big effort, the time set was more than enough. And the animation tutor reckons that my project is the most ambitious. So how come I can manage, for goodness’ sake.
