Regeneration

As soon as I mentioned the Doctor Who Christmas special to Elliot S. & Rod H. on the walk to Racodac this morning, a chap walked past dressed IDENTICALLY to Tom Baker as the fourth doctor: hat, scarf, hair and all. Predictably, I found this highly amusing and the chap noticed. Eeek.

No second chances

As a last-day-of-the-holiday treat, I gave Doctor Who: The Christmas Invasion a viewing having not watched it on Christmas Day. It was brilliant! David Tennant looks to be a great doctor, and the preview of the upcoming series intrigued muchly.

Fare dodging

Katy B’s car exhaust kinda… fell off tonight - mid journey. We weren’t far from hers so she walked back and I made my own way home on the BUS. Excellently, I managed to avoid paying the ridiculously extortionate £1.50 adult fare in finding an off-peak travel card tucked inside the frame of the timetable at the bus stop.

Result.

Value

I’m getting seriously narked with eBay, although it’s not actually their fault. It’s the Brommers NTL server being temperamental when displaying certain eBay pages. So I’m told anyway.

I haven’t been able to properly eBay for over a month now, which is more than annoying when there’s a cheap sphincter bleaching kit ending soon. Amongst other sought after items, obviously.

Fat lot of good mobile telephones are. I flooded out a Happy New Year text message to all in my phone book and the network failed to send most of ‘em because, presumably, everyone else had the same idea.

Still, Happy New Year and all that.
