AVP: Alien Vs. Predator greatly disappointed the first time I saw it. So much so that removing the poster from the inside of my then-bedroom door was top priority. But I’ve just watched the extended version on shiny disc (an impulse buy mainly to complete the set) and it was far, far better than the theatrical version I saw before.

It was by no means on par with the original Alien and/or Predator films of course. But this time round, ’twas far more entertaining and worthy of belonging to the franchises.

I still hate the condom joke and bullet time bits though.
