A very busy start to the year has seen me falling behind with The Bill - eight episodes to be exact. But after an intensive sesh the night before last of the first six eps and the most recent two just now, I’m all up to date.
I really don’t get why everyone rips the piss out of me for watching The Bill, it’s not as if ITV keep throwing millions at the programme because I’m the only one that watches it. But I’m sure that if they’d seen the last two eps they wouldn’t be so quick to have a go, as they were ruddy excellent - two of the finest ever without a doubt.
And even though it’s been a long build up (since June of last year) to the climactic events of these last two episodes, all the action and back-story was somehow self-contained, making playback similar to watching a two hour feature film.
The twists were brilliant, and they’ve left the story hanging very nicely (if not a bit annoyingly) for next week’s eps. Oh yes!
Update: And the new title sequence is inspired.

First thing this morning - straight out of bed.
I am hardcore. Love it!

It’s three years later, but I finally found it.
Another fine example of suture on this here blog. It’s almost as if someone writes this stuff.
The Wombles of Brommerly Common are we.
Such a wizard night! Well, not bad if you fancy nobbing a gorilla. Ha ha.
I’ve just got a text message saying: "This is my new number - John". Now not being funny, but how is that in any way helpful given John is one of the most common names in the world?
This could possibly be the funniest thing I have ever seen. I was in stitches earlier laughing at it - I can’t imagine it ever not being funny.
Update: It was a video of Leo Sayer in Celebrity Big Brother attempting to give the camera the finger. But you were too slow and now the vid’s been taken down. Shame on you.
BUT… I made a copy if anyone’s interested. (Because I can.)

I was up until 5am this morning finishing a title sequence due on Tuesday that I’ve been working on non-stop every day for the last week.
I’ve only *just* watched it back on a domestic television set and it really looks the shizzle! I am so pleased with it; it’s easily my best piece of work to date. Huzzah!
