Butt plugs

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 at 11:18 pm

It makeths me laugh how Elliot S. and Sam S. ridiculed me for over a year for keeping my feedback private on eBay yet they’ve both now got theirs set to private - Sam even asking me today how to hide his.

I wouldn’t mind, but my reason was perfectly innocent - no dodgy purchases in my item history thank you very much. Theirs on the other hand - well, they don’t want to talk about it so it can only be left to the imagination.

I didn’t see past the staaarta

I’ve written some cracking post titles for this here blog but I think I’ve raised the standard with this one.

When I first saw the trailer to 300 I thought it was an advert for a computer game. When I realised it was a film I wanted to see it, swayed by the stunning visuals. But having struggled to see past the first twenty minutes earlier, things weren’t looking good.

I think I lasted thirty-five minutes all in all; it was really boring and life’s too short to stick it out. So a jam doughnut with Ambrosia Devon Cussie in bed it is for me now, and I’m going to watch Chalk instead.

Myspace

Thursday, March 29th, 2007 at 10:31 pm

I hate Myspace - and all social networking sites come to mention it. But a while back I discovered that each main Skins CHARACTER has a profile there.

I’m ambivalent as to whether I think it a good thing - it certainly extends the realism. But come on, they don’t actually exist. Hats off to Channel 4 for an innovative marketing tactic but people are buying into it, seemingly believing the events of the characters seen on screen happened in reality to the people (characters) of the profiles.

It’s no different to kiddie-fiddlers setting up fake accounts and posing as characters they’ve invented of themselves. Apart from the interfering with children bit. Look but don’t touch anyway. (I’m joking!)

The BBC have now made a profile for Martha Jones - going as far as writing a couple of blog entries on her life before meeting the Doctor. It really is quite… interesting, I suppose - being able to extend the universe of fiction in such a way. But it seems a bit pointless to me - on a social networking site anyway; Gareth’s page on the original The Office site worked well but because it didn’t take itself too seriously.

Well what’dya know? Months after requesting such an item, a full squad photograph has materialised on the official The Bill website.

___

I’ve always thought a forum for The Bill called The Billboard was a great idea, but nobody’s ever done it. I’m half tempted to write in and suggest they start one. Because I can.

Controversy

Amongst other slightly disturbing images that appear, searching for “bigblake” on Google Images currently displays a blacked-up photograph of Her Majesty the Queen.

Mission accomplished

It’s three years later, but I finally found it.

Another fine example of suture on this here blog. It’s almost as if someone writes this stuff.

One of many reasons why YouTube is excellent.

Dead white cells

Monday, January 16th, 2006 at 11:20 am

I’ve awoken with a terrible cold & sore throat and have just discovered a weird white spot at the back of my throat. On one site, the Internet says not to worry. On another, the word “cancer” flashes up in big red letters.

Remembering back to this, I took the latter report as an unnecessary scare. But why do people say things like that? I mean, it appeared to be a serious medical resource, so you’d think they’d be more tactful even if it is a symptom.

Right, shopping list, shopping list

www.penisland.net - I can almost imagine the feel of one in my hand. One with my name on it ;-)

Value

I’m getting seriously narked with eBay, although it’s not actually their fault. It’s the Brommers NTL server being temperamental when displaying certain eBay pages. So I’m told anyway.

I haven’t been able to properly eBay for over a month now, which is more than annoying when there’s a cheap sphincter bleaching kit ending soon. Amongst other sought after items, obviously.
